Who qualifies

The employer must show that no capable and willing Barbadian national or resident can fill the position.

What it takes.

Time: The Immigration Department does not publish a processing period on the work-permit page.
Cost: BDS$300 application fee; final permit fee depends on the work category and duration.
The hard part: The employer's proof that the position cannot be filled by a qualified and willing local worker.
