Standard Work Permit

Work for the approved Bermuda employer and role for a permit of one to five years.

Who qualifies

  • The employer advertises the vacancy in a local newspaper and on the Government job board for at least eight days and considers qualified Bermudian and other priority applicants.

  • The employer submits the online application and signed contract; closed occupation categories cannot use a Standard Work Permit, and work may not begin before formal approval.
