Who qualifies

An American citizen seeking to live or work on Bonaire submits an application for a declaration of admittance by law at an IND-CN service counter; the government separately says US citizens may enter the Caribbean Netherlands first and then apply locally.

American nationals are exempt from the separate work permit, but IND-CN still assesses the residence/admittance application against its requirements. After approval, register at the Census Office with the IND decision and original civil records.
