Pay Limit Scheme

Residence and work for the approved Danish job, normally up to four years for longer contracts; a new employer requires a new permit.

Who qualifies

  • The job offer must pay at least DKK 552,000 annually at the 2026 level; only guaranteed cash, eligible pension payments and paid holiday allowance count toward the limit.

  • The salary and other employment terms must meet Danish standards, the position must normally be at least 30 hours a week, and the salary must be paid into the worker's own Danish bank account within the stated timeframe.

Normal SIRI processing time: one month; up to three months when more information is needed.
