Who qualifies

  • Write to the Immigration and Emigration Directorate explaining the reason for residence, and provide a passport identity-page copy and a letter from an employer or sponsor guaranteeing the stay and repatriation if needed.

  • Provide a recent medical certificate, two passport photographs, last-arrival card, birth certificate with French translation, recent home-country criminal record, and an attestation from a bank in Haiti showing at least 7,500 gourdes or US$200.
