Foreign worker permit and employment card

Work permission for the approved employment for up to one year, limited by the worker's separate residence permission. It is not an entry visa or residence permit.

Who qualifies

A foreign worker must hold a work permit and employment card issued by the ministry responsible for labour.

The employer must have the required permission to employ a foreigner; the worker must have entered legally and hold a valid passport and residence permit, and meet the stated fitness requirement.
