Who qualifies

The applicant needs confirmation of full-time enrolment in an approved school course or at a higher-education institution and program in the education ministry's register, showing the planned duration; a minor needs parent or guardian consent.

General residence conditions include support, accommodation, health insurance and public-order checks. A legally present applicant may submit the study-residence application to the Ministry of Interior.

Time: Article 75 provides decision periods of 30 working days for a ministry-filed application or 60 working days through a mission, subject to extension; current appointment access is unverified.
Cost: Verify current government, enrolment and document fees with the school and Ministry of Interior.
The hard part: Confirming the program's approval or registration, the passport-specific D-visa rule and any permission for short or auxiliary work.
