Yes. You keep your U.S. citizenship.
  • Permanent residence for a USD 1 million investment after a period of legal residence on another permit (one year per the program file, five per the investment board); it ends there, as Seychelles no longer naturalises by residence.
  • The Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2023 replaced the residence route (15 years' residence, or 10 years on permanent residence) and repealed the investor route, so ordinary foreigners now have no residence road to Seychelles citizenship. The Immigration and Civil Status FAQ still shows the old 15-year rule.
  • What remains is for spouses: 15 years married plus 2 years' residence and an exam in one of the three national languages (80% or more).
  • Permanent residence years are not published by Immigration; the investment board mentions USD 1 million plus 5 years on a work or dependant permit, seen only in a search result. The program file says one year.
  • Dual citizenship: s. 12 asks only that another citizenship be declared within 30 days; the 2023 Act did not change it.
  • There is no realistic route from residence to citizenship here; permanence is where this road ends.
