Work-based temporary residence card

A temporary residence card for an eligible foreigner. The card is not itself a work permit or entry authorization; the qualifying employment approval and any required visa are separate.

What it takes.

Time
Up to five working days after a complete temporary-card application; time for work authorization and entry is additional and unverified.
Cost
The published temporary-card fee varies by validity: USD 145 up to two years, USD 155 for more than two to five years, and USD 165 for more than five to ten years; other work and entry fees are separate.
The hard part
Obtaining the work permit or exemption and proving eligibility for the applicable temporary-card category before the sponsor files.
